What's included

What your entry actually includes.

At a big race, VIP is a tier you buy: the closer parking lot, the private toilets, the photo package. At this race there's nothing to upgrade to, because every runner already gets all of it. Here's what that means, item by item.

The headliner

The finisher hoodie

Not a t-shirt. Every runner receives our exclusive finisher hoodie: a premium, midweight unisex cotton blend made for cool race mornings and everything after, with the official race logo on the front. It's become the thing people spot in airports.

The hoodie pictured is 2026's. The 2027 design is being worked on now, and it goes up here as soon as it's final.

Registering race week? You still get a hoodie. You'll pick it up after the race, and if your size runs out we'll make one and mail it to you free.

A medal at the line

Every finisher earns one. And there's real money and hardware beyond it: the awards program.

At packet pickup and the finish: step on, arms up, instant shareable video. Watch last year's and you'll get it.

On course

A course that takes care of you

17 aid stations (8 on the half) with water, lemon-lime Gatorade, bananas at miles 6, 8, 13.1, 18.5 and 20, and orange slices at the half marathon turnaround, each staffed by a local cheer team competing to be your favorite

A portable toilet at every station: you pass 17 of them in the full, 8 in the half

USATF-certified distances, course marshals, and arrows at every turn: the course

Post-race food at the finish to get you back on your feet

A goody bag laid out: the finisher hoodie, a koozie, a logo sticker, coffee and samples

In the bag

The goody bag isn't filler.

Runner discounts from The Hops Spot, Sackets Boathouse, Whiskey Coop and other local supporters, a glossy 5" logo sticker, and for the first 1,000 bags a koozie thanks to Farone & Son.

Pictured is a 2026 bag. The 2027 lineup comes together over the summer.

Volunteers at the post-race food tent

At the finish

There's a food tent, and it's not a banana table.

Cross the line and the tent is right there: food to get you back on your feet, staffed by neighbors who have been setting it up since before sunrise.

The part nobody advertises

You park near the start line. Everyone does.

🅿️ Free parking beside the start/finish, open at 5:00 AM. No shuttle buses, no 6 AM bag drop at a stadium two miles away, and no premium lot for sale.

No gear check needed. Start, finish and parking are the same place, so your car is your gear check, your dry clothes and your post-race chair.

Toilets where you need them: at the start/finish area and at every single aid station on course.

Walk to the line when you're ready. No corral queues an hour early, no waiting in the cold because the lot closed at 5:30.

The emotional close

Ring the bell.

Set a PR? First time finishing this distance? Punched your ticket to Boston? Then walk to the Doc & Wylma Reinhardt Legacy PR/BQ Bell, given by their family, and ring it like you mean it.

Five years in, the bell is the sound of the finish area at Sackets.
