Volunteer: join the Race Crew

This race runs on neighbors. Every Labor Day weekend a couple hundred people show up like it's a family reunion and put on the village's loudest morning of the year. Be one of them.

What it looks like

Cone hats optional. Coffee mandatory.

Some of our crew have worked every single year. Some signed up the week before. Both get a shirt, a job that matters, and a village that thanks them all morning.

Parking crew

4:45 – 7:15 AM

Wave a few hundred cars into a grass lot before sunrise. Weirdly satisfying.

Packet pickup

Saturday + race morning

Hand runners their bib and hoodie: the first smile of their race weekend.

Course marshals

Groups welcome

Teams that want to raise money while they cheer should look at the Water Station Contest: $300 minimum for your group, $500 if the runners vote you best on course.
